Wire Wheels LTD (hereafter referred as Player) warrants to the original
purchaser that wheels distributed by Player will be free from defects in
materials and workmanship under normal and reasonable use for one year from
date of purchase. Player’s obligation under this warranty is limited to the
repair or, at Player’s option, replacement, without charge except for
transportation and installation of any wheel in which Player’s opinion is
defective in material or workmanship.
Upon claim to Player, the warranty applies as follows: Player warrants its
wheels to be structurally sound for their lifetime. Any and all out of round
claims must be made within 30 days of purchase. Player warrants the chrome
finish for 1 year and the paint finish for 90 days. All warranty claims must be
claimant’s original invoice or bill of sale, which is provided by the end user
of said products. Any claim made pursuant to this warranty shall be conditioned
upon Player’s inspection of wheels upon which claim is made and Player’s
determination that there is a defect in material or workmanship.
1. Any defect, malfunction or, failure, caused by: damage while in transit,
off-highway use, competitive events, conversion adapters, or by abuse, misuse,
accident or neglect.
2. Wheels that have been altered, repaired, or chrome plated by anyone other
than Player.
3. Wheels that have not been installed in accordance with normal installation
or installed with incorrect tire sizes or used with excessive loads.
4. Wheels that have been installed with other than Player approved hardware,
such as: lug nuts/bolts, valve stems, balancing weights, and center caps.
5. Wheel corrosion or cosmetic flaws occurring after purchase due to chemicals,
caustic-cleaning agents, climate conditions, neglect, or lack of proper
cleaning.
6. Damage caused by incorrect mounting or installation.
7. Appearance defects in wheels that have been mounted after purchase or have
been sold as a blemished product.
This warranty is valid only for wheels purchased in the United
States and when the wheel is returned to the authorized dealer from whom it was
purchased, freight prepaid, together with proof of purchase. Transfer of title
by original retail purchaser voids the warranty.
This warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty given with respect to the
wheel and all other express warranties are hereby excluded. Neither Player nor
an authorized Player dealer who sells the wheels is responsible for indirect,
incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow limitations on
how long an implied warranty lasts and/or do not allow the exclusion or
limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations on
implied warranties and/or the exclusions and limitations may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other
rights, which vary from state to state.
1. Contact a purchasing dealer to alert them of your claim. At this time an
official return authorization number (RA#) will be issued that must be clearly
marked on all shipping materials and supporting paperwork or return will be
refused.
2. Arrange to have the wheels shipped, freight prepaid, to: Player Wire Wheels
LTD, 116 S. Meridian Rd., Youngstown, Ohio 44509.
3. Include the following: a.) Copy of the original invoice for the returned
wheels. b.) Explanation of why wheel is being returned.
4. Upon receipt of the wheels, Player will inspect them per the warranty claim
and contact the dealer to determine the appropriate course of action.
